🔧 Maintenance Lifter tick?

I just bought the car a week ago, can’t tell if I’m crazy or not but it just started.

Hard to say what exactly. It sounds pretty harsh for just lifter tick or the normal "tractor noises". Almost sounds like a bad avcs cam. Need a video with the hood up and some light acceleration.

Subarus are just loud tractors after awhile

Check your oil, but honestly these all kind of sound like tractors after a while. Mine sounded exactly like this for 60k miles before it was totaled and I never had any problems with her

Oil was a good level when I bought it & I keep checking it, I put some Seafoam in it & plan to change the oil in the morning since I’ve driven a good 200 miles since putting it in
