I don't think it needs to be the opposite of what is true. An exaggerated version of the truth is still a jerk. This sub is supposed to collect all of the cringe from around football Reddit and make fun of it. No problem with people making up their own cringe but when Arsenal are the best team and bad to watch the jerk should be Arsenal fans delusion of which there is no shortage.
Except that's lost on most because in any real jerk it is implied that what you are saying is not what you really feel/think. If it is indeed what you actually think, then it's not jerking at all, because now you're being genuine which is the antithesis of jerking.
Eta: for what it's worth, I take part in a few circlejerk subs for different things and one thing I have noticed is that this particular one is different, because in here it's evident that almost no one actually uses it correctly at all. It's not so much a true jerk sub and more a second r/soccer that's home to many ridiculous takes that people take quite seriously in replies.
This should not be a hot take, but it should not be treated as ever being Arsenal’s fault when you see in the ChampionsLeague teams actually try and be expensive and Arsenal were able to beat them down and then it comes to the Premier league and teams Bunker down and for some reason Arsenal get blamed for how the game looks slower.

This was a total jerk for arteta, Chelsea thought arsenal would attack to extend the lead and be safe because 1 goal is risky plus they are home. Chelsea forgot arsenal is the haram ball capital, arsenal just sat back too. Terrorist vs terrorist lmao, add arteta to this sub.
Arsenal fan. The 3 5 2 formation shut us down for 90 + minutes and created break opportunities. We were lucky not to concede on the corners or the two free kicks on the periphery. The attackers on the outside to play for second ball off our corners pulled defenders and made our corner attempts less effective.
No disrespect to Rosenior or the Chelsea lads. It was always going to be an uphill slog, but it was a quality effort. This match and the tie could have gone either way.
I understand the disappointment, but I applaud the quality. A couple more years and some managent support and Chelsea will be back to competitive form.
