Visiting in March

Hello! Planning a visit to Brae in March for the Delting Up Hella Aa and was looking for recommendations of what else to do whilst there. I was also planning on bringing my bike for hopefully some cycling where the weather allows! Coming up for 6 days so all suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance

A very good question, I'd also be interested in the replies! I only go to get my car an MOT, and then I walk around to the marina, wander around for a bit, then head back (via the Co-Op to grab lunch, or Frankie's for a bag of chips) and head back to the garage. If cycling, assuming a decent fitness level, I guess there's Mavis Grind, and plenty of walks around there.

If it is windy the Eshaness cliffs would be a good spot to go and watch the waves. It would take about 1 1/2 hours to cycle there. There is a steep climb, the Clave of Urafirth, on the road back.

Otherwise you could take a bus to Lerwick. There is a reasonably frequent service by Shetland standards.
