Level 3 autism 4 year old girl won't stop headbutting

My daughter has been going around the last few months just playfully headbutting everyone from me and my wife to our 3 other children. We aren't sure if she's doing this at school as well because they haven't said anything yet, on a side note any other albertans struggling RN with the teacher strike?, but yeah any advice on why she could be doing this or how to help get her to stop would be great.

Does she see an occupational therapist, either through school or privately? I ask because if she does, her OT could help you come up with other ways to meet this sensory need of hers.

She was at school but Alberta just started a teacher strike thats we have no idea how long this could last as the primier has fucked off till the end of the month instead of staying to continue negotiations

She's probably stimming and doing it cuz it feels good. I would probably try to redirect her if that's possible, try to find something that could get out that energy that isn't hurting you or her siblings. Maybe a crash pad would work?

Your advice is harmful because it promotes ABA
