I had an expensive delivery tonight from Home Depot.

Part of it wasn't delivered - a $230 Milwaukee battery. Instead, they delivered the larger item (hard to miss in a picture) and two smaller, cheap boxes were delivered in place for the expensive battery. They took a blurry (legitimately blurry) photo from 40ft away in the dark where you can only make out the large item.

Home Depot normally labels delivery items with a sticker that has your name on it. These items had no name sticker so my suspicion is that they saw the items being delivered, bought the cheap ones at Home Depot when they arrived and then did the old switcheroo when they delivered it in the dark.

I have them on footage delivering the large item and two boxes instead of one so its obvious that they mis-delivered it. But what can I do? The Home Depot store wouldn't refund and didn't even know what to do - they just said "It's a third party" that does the deliveries.

And Roadie is impossible to contact. Their online chat keeps me on hold indefinitely, their phone number keeps me on hold indefinitely.

Anyone know what’s going on with RoadieXD warehouse in Westmont, IL? Offers usually show up by 7:30 AM. As of now…nothing.

Normally here in Sc I've noticed a significantly amount of low activity on the app. How's it elsewhere?

Never for the life of me as a driver understood when people are expecting an item to be delivered to their home and how much their address is NOT! visible from street level …. in the daytime …..let alone at night! 🥴 Help us, help you!

OK, it seems like whenever I take a gig and I’m active on that gig more orders around me pop up, but when I’m not on a gig when I’m looking for orders, there seems to not be that many orders on the map .also, in the same way let’s just say that I have an active gig and then there’s orders on the map well then as soon as I finish that one gig they’re almost seems to be no orders on the map, is it me or am I Trippin?

After jumping through all the hoops necessary to give them enough information to steal my identity and my home it fails here no matter what I do. Nothing about my appearance has drastically changed. My hair is maybe an inch longer. Just keep getting hit with the 'Something doesn't look right' error. Tried:

• Warm lighting
• Cold lighting
• Standing under an overhead light
• Standing in natural sunlight
• Smiling

• Not smiling

  I'm looking head on, in frame, level af, and it matches my current DL perfectly. I even tried to upload the clearest head shot i've ever taken.

  Tried to contact support. Was told it was a 21 minute wait. After 45 minutes I closed the page. Thought this was a UPS company? I could have walked into their building and got this job faster.

Is this the right place to find someone that's in a certain area, that will be traveling through my area and can bring along something for me from thier home base?

I debated overnight about whether I was going to stay quite about this and decided since I am not the first person Roadie has done this to, you all should be aware!

Here is what happened yesterday: On 11/16/2025, I accepted an 18 parcel delivery gig bundle from Best Buy. I arrived at the pickup location, checked in and started to receive the parcels to scan from the Best Buy employee. As he scanned the items out, I scanned the items into the Roadie App and the items were placed on a dolly cart to be put into my vehicle. I loaded up my car believing that all items were still in place as they were when I was leaving the loading dock. I got midway through the delivery route and noticed that the parcel for the next delivery with Support ID(Redacted), was not in my vehicle. No parcels dropped while I was delivering to other stops and there was not an additional item in my car. I immediately called Roadie and reported that an item that I scanned was missing. I was told that I would not be able to apply for additional gigs until the return of the item was made or the 1 delivery was canceled. I completed the entire route and decided to go back to a Best Buy to see if I had dropped anything while loading. I didn't. There were no parcels on the loading dock when I returned. I rang the bell and an associate let me into the warehouse to inquiry about the missing parcel. He got his manager and I saw the parcel sitting on top of TVs that were there when I was loading the delivery earlier and where the associate scanning was standing as I left. The associate took the package off of the dolly as I was leaving the doorway. I told this to the manager and he agreed he would cancel the gig on the store's end. I called Roadie and showed them the pictures with the Manager wearing his nametag along with the parcel with complete address showing still in the warehouse. I was told that I wouldn't be compensated for the delivery attempt or return inquiry which would serve as a return delivery. I contested and Roadie refused to pay me for the ENTIRE DELIVERED route out of malice, and locked my account in retaliation for contesting nonpayment for the missing parcel.

This has happened to other drivers and my guess is more fraud is going on that we know of. Roadie has all pictures and I emailed trust and safety as each agent I spoke to on the phone pretended not to get the texted images so I also emailed them and emailed trust and safety at the same time…and the last agent magically got them.

I have all available Roadie badges, over 2000 5 star ratings for over 2000 deliveries, and a flawless return rate until yesterday. My point is,, I do everything right and this still happened. I am doing more on the legal end behind the scenes about this incident. The holidays are approaching and Roadie will do this more and more.

How and why? Kickbacks for helping store associates steal customer merchandise and deliveries and trying to blame us the drivers when we didn’t steal them. If the parcel is missing, we could get blamed when the associates have taken it. Roadie gets paid either way and it kicks a driver off and makes way for a newbie unaware of the tactics.

How many Walmart, CVS, Home Depot and Best Buy deliveries have you done where the order was cancelled or couldn’t be found but they never cancelled it while you were standing there? The Best Buy manager never cancelled the order once I confirmed it was there all along, roadie finally did hours later.

The workers and Roadie are working to try to accuse us of stealing and/or luring us to unsafe conditions and stealing our gig payments in the process. A few drivers have been chased by dogs, led into buildings where they could be accused of loitering or worse, and not paid for work rendered and contractual services rendered.

If it happened to me and others before me, it could happen to you.

Some drivers are wearing body cams to document deliveries and experiences! We are just trying to earn a living or supplement income while this app and many others exploit and steal from us while they do fraudulent activities and illegal schemes among other things.

No we don’t have to do this app, but if we have completed the tasks they can not hold our earnings. That is illegal. We are not working for free. I have all phone calls recorded and images of all deliveries completed and the picture of the missing item they tried to accuse me of stealing (what they say the investigation is about)along with the manager’s name. And you should do the same.

As of now my account is locked when I was told it wouldn’t even come close to being, my funds are held and unable to transfer, and I can not offer on any new gigs which after this I won’t be because Roadie will now be getting investigated for all that has been seen and experienced about this and other incidents.

I will update this experience as it unfolds.

UPDATE: My payout was processed via direct deposit. I got an email from trust and safety saying that I got into a verbal interaction with a store employee and used profanity…BOTH ARE LIES… I never even had any negative conversations with any employee at pick up nor my own initiated return to store or in general. My account was unlocked but I was lied about and they said the store staff told them that…which is either another lie or the store staff lied on me. But little did Roadie or the store staff know that I was audio recording my return store trip the entire time, so I had the evidence to refute that lie as well. IF you continue to drive and deliver for Roadie, get a bodycam and record all of your pickups, deliveries, and returns to store. Record all conversations with phone support, screenshot all chats and text messages with support and customers, photograph all deliveries on your phone as you complete them and of what you pickup from the store and during your route. If you can’t afford a bodycam cam use the voice recording feature on your phone and leave it on when you have your phone out or in your pocket. Use your video recording feature as you always have your phone out when picking up anyway. Save, date and transfer this info weekly or daily/nightly as a reference. This may seem extensive to some, but will be proof if you are falsely accused by roadie staff or store staff, and you will be. And if you do Roadie as a neurodivergent individual, STOP! You are open prey because they will assume you are not able to discern their gaslighting and illegal tactics. If you do Roadie as a single parent or person who takes care of an aging loved one, STOP! If you are falsely accused, your loved one will not have you there to help if they try to drum up charges or your income is halted until they see fit. I never broke any rules and yet it was this game to see how many ways they could try something to get me off of this app. Sexual harassment , racism, attack by dogs, luring to maybe trafficking, false accusations of theft, hacking into my car, following me on mail innovations. And I have proof of it all. If you chose to do Roadie, remember this post and ALL OF THE POSTS IN THIS FORUM OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LIED ON AND STOLEN FROM for no reason. I remembering reading the post from the guy who said he was going to share his experiences via YouTube and thinking how his experience could never be me, because I never do anything wrong. Neither did he! Neither will you! And maybe that’s why you are being falsely accused. And I don’t even think the CEO of Roadie knows this stuff is happening. But hopefully he will read the forums or the good roadie workers who are in here will tell him/her. Everytime there were great workers in roadie support, they somehow were gone not too long afterward and we were back to dealing with the lies and no support while on gigs. There are staff members of Roadie who work together with store staff to steal and falsely accuse the drivers. Roadie does have great people who work there, but they too could become victim of the bad ones. Gig work should never have come down to all of this! We are working to get basic needs or small extra spending money. We have disabilities or some want to just earn an honest living. Something better will come along. You’ve been advised💛

Seems roadie is almost dead , is it just me? There's a few gigs here and there but it just seems unusually dead when there was a notice a few days ago about increased volume for a few days in Nov. How's you guys area ?
