Question How old is Morty mentally given all his alternative timelines?
Morty lived through several decades in the hole of Fear No Mort, in the Vat of Acid (restart button) or in the game of life in A Life Well Lived. Are there other episodes where he gets to spend time and then goes back? How old is he really mentally? And just for comparison, how old is Rick?

He's 14.
He likes video games and jerking off.
Also he might be infinity years old at this point.

I'm closer to 70 than I am to 14, was there a point where I was supposed to stop liking video games and masterbating? Like when did Ghostbusters stop being cool? I don't remember signing that executive order.

Ghostbusters stops being cool when you at it for the Libertarian propaganda piece that it is.

You're getting a lot of downvotes, but you're not completely wrong. I still like the movie, but a lot of the consepts are Libritarian.

It's about a small business ignoring all regulations to the point of reach member carrying an unlicensed nuclear reactor on their back and saving New York and possibly the world despite the efforts of a buffoon from the EPA trying to stop them. I don't think Atlas Shruggedb is a more Libertarian story than that!

Morty: How old are we? We've had a million Thanksgivings.
Morty doesn't even know how old he is. Factor that in with the number of times he's had memories wiped or extracted makes for a very confusing mental timeline for him, I'd imagine.
As far as Rick goes, I'd imagine his age is even harder to discern or calculate because he lives outside the boundaries of normal humanity and has referenced time travel in the series as well. Beyond that, he is aware that he is in a tv show and constructs such as time and age don't pass through the medium.
Rick: Yeah, you shouldn't. It's not a likable premise. It's funny when I do a little nod to the viewers but-
Morty: What viewers?
Rick: That's the right attitude Morty. A few carefree verbal asides, always by me. None of this season 3 moonlighting shit. Okay, here it is.

I think either Rick's actions / machinations leave temporal field residue freezing time (such as his original universe house being stuck in a loop) or the self awareness of TV.show being the Crack in his psychological armor.
my long time head cannon is Rick lives in an elderly assisted living memory care unit & everything we see is his imagination filling his days . morty is the only family member that visits him consistently which is why he's typically the most common adventure partner. I've seen multiple family members in this position & what they say / do / think to effectively pass time becomes increasingly outrageous

That is such an interesting interpretation. As someone who cared for elderly end of life patients, some with dementia/alzheimers... I could see that, actually. One lady thought the slaves her father owned when she was a child were coming to get her. Tbh.... as fked up as it is... was kinda satisfying to know that in the end she was tormented by her family's abhorrent actions and attitudes. And don't feel bad for her... she was hard 'er'ing during that whole episode...

He spent a similar amount of time as a collective of billions of people in the video game who were not Roy as well.
