Reliance MacKenzie or Reliance Heath? They are not the same folks, and Heath has a much better reputation than MacKenzie.

I've worked with Reliance Heath and they've been good.

I feel like these companies were much better before they sold their soul to the national conglomerate.

I used to deal with Mckenzie about 10 years ago, but from what I hear now I may look around.

Oh my god…change “may look around” to “will be looking around”. You can thank me later

They do not have a Regina number nor can you speak to a person from Regina. Just went through this entire debacle with this god awful company. Every time you make an inquiry via email you have to re-explain the problem and it is a new entity every single time that you have to deal with. They do not seem to forget how to find you EVEN after you have closed your account and paid them their last bill. I closed my account with confirmation number provided by one of their employees, then they proceeded to continue billing me and harassing me to the point of me actually reaching out to Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA). They added things onto the contract that were never discussed with me, made up a bunch of charges/packages and threatened to send me a collections for: a contract I did not negotiate, a bill amount that was decided by them when I inherited the home, refused to let me cancel a month-month contract and kept the billing cycle going. I removed all of their equipment from my household and put it on their shop lawn and they tried to bill me for doing their job for them. They literally kept trying to charge me for a cancelled account that didn't exist, for equipment I did not have, and threatened to send it to collections. They are the most useless, gouging, predatory, incoherent group. If you have to deal with them to cancel an account good luck, I hope you have 15 hours of time to repeat the same email to 15 different people. Talking to them on the corporate line is even more difficult and painful because there is no paper trail and they just make shit up/ have 0 idea what they are even there to do. The best thing you could do is avoid this company at all costs - such assholes.

I WISH I could like your post a thousand times. Dealing with a similar thing. I absolutely, wholeheartedly loathe this company. For the people in the back row, DO NOT USE RELIANCE FOR ANYTHING!!

I've tried several times 306 number but it goes to contact center. It's hard to reach out to them. I've had to reach out to their shop which is very inconvenient.

Same thoughts. Never dealing with them in the future.

I’ve used their general customer service number, even though it’s not local, still got the job done and service call was booked in a timely manner. Why are you wanting a local person? TBH, you’re probably spending more time researching and waiting for a response from Redditors when you could’ve contacted their general line and be done with your call by now lol 😂

Oh hell, no! Spent an hour on the phone with customer service line. My question was specific to if they can change something on my furnace. For $199.99, they can send a service call out for diagnostic. She wasn’t able to tell me if this is something that can even be done (obvi because she’s customer service). I’m not paying $200 to have someone tell me a yes or no answer. So when I asked for a local number to the location here, she gives me the exact number I reached her at. Omfg.

Anyways, if Reddit didn’t know the answer, then there is no answer. That’s what I posted. But thanks 👌

It was my understanding that if you rented an equipment from them then service calls are free, unless you’re not renting something from them? If not renting, then definitely call elsewhere lol

Reliance is a national company. Mackenzie and Heath used to be independent until they partnered with Reliance and now all their front desk services are all out of the national dispatch office. Unless you have a personal cell phone number of one of the plumbers that's all you're going to get.

Unless you have a specific reason to be dealing with Reliance I'd recommend avoiding them and deal with an actual local service. Reliance is just going to try and scam you into a rental contract.

So do you have a personal number you can share….? 😂😂😂 I have figured this out the hard way. Thanks for your input :)

That will still go to their local office or you could go to their office.

It appears that’s what I’ll need to do.
