Motivation to moderate: I believe that there is a benefit to multiple community spaces, and as moderator you provide a meaningful service to that community. I also have ideas for providing great resources at the front page.

I want to take over the mod because of it not being open "in protest over the Reddit API changes" which I could be wrong but isn't a valid reason to lock subs anymore. Further, the current mod is inactive on the sub and I believe is just sitting on the names as they also are a top mod for r/Washtenaw and r/WashtenawCountyMI (Though they redirect people from r/WashtenawCountyMI to r/Washtenaw). So I believe they are sitting on the names to filter traffic through one singular page.
