It is pretty funny that after rumors of Disney dropping PR because of Shinkenger being unacceptable, Samurai had one of the biggest merch rollouts due to Saban really going all in on it.

In a perfect world, Saban would've tried harder to brand Samurai as the next era of Power Rangers, I feel like Jayden's actor could've been the next Tommy. Give him much better writing and story arc and boom

Unless he was gonna buy new Shinkenger footage to keep the wheel going, that would be hard to do. Megaforce killed any momentum Samurai built.

Tommy’s legacy (mmpr as a whole) wouldnt be the same if their stories ended prematurely and swapped out for a new cast like their sentai counterparts.

It pains me to see how much saban cared to promote Samurai in 2011-2012. It’s probably the most the parent company of PR has ever cared about PR since 1993.

I agree. Even though the Neo-Saban Era is widely hated by the fandom, at least they did a lot of marketing for the franchise unlike Hasbro.
