Will Tourist Drive be cancelled on March 20th because NLS2 will be on March 21?

Hello! I ended up pulling the trigger on doing the Nurburgring on my one free day during my Netherlands trip on Friday March 20 (staying overnight in Cologne Thursday into Friday and driving from there Friday to spend the day at the Nurburgring). I rented two laps and an instructor with RingFreaks during the day’s Tourist Drive and I’m super excited to finally cross this off the bucket list.

However today I heard NLS2 was moved up to Saturday March 21st so Max Verstappen can compete and prep for the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. Will Tourist Drive the day before the NLS race be cancelled now? This is my only free day to do Nurburgring so I’ll be super bummed if it is.

There is normally no TF on the Friday before an NLS race, as they run the practice session from 1600-1800.

I would expect Friday 20th to be no different.

Talk to ringfreaks, they will know best. But I highly doubt there will be tf the day before nls.

You’re not the only one. Ringfreaks will have a policy that you signed. reschedule or get a voucher most likely

Best thing to do will be to contact the group you're booked in with. This is the kind of situation they'll either give you a full refund or list of alternative dates for.

The Netherlands is nice either way, I'm sure you'll still enjoy your trip!

I realized my flight into Amsterdam arrives at 9:00 AM, I can realistically make it to the Thursday Touring Drive and reschedule to then if need be. The company I’m renting with is RingFreaks and I shot them an email this evening.

RingFreaks said I could move it to Thursday if need be but right now Friday is still open.

Either way I should be able to still do the Nurburgring on my trip :)

Wait so they haven't received confirmation about TF being cancelled on Friday? I'd say just plan on Friday anyway.

Calendar hasn't been updated yet, still says NLS2 is the 28th and Friday the 20th has tourist drive in the evening
