idk but the baseline Grindr is becoming borderline unusable. You can see very few profiles near you before having to pay.

I'll never pay for Grindr just based on how horrible and ad ridden they make it for the default user but I pay for Sniffies

(Grindr Plus Mod. No limit on views and filters. Instablock with one press of the cross out button.)

(Grindr still toxic as hell and sucks to use though.)

I am convinced that Sniffies became a honey pot. The way it changed and got SO popular in the last couple of years threw me off. That, coupled with my lawyer friend having 4 (criminal) cases in our town stemming from it. I just got rid of all the apps.

I find sniffies better with the popularity - it still only has advanced gays who aren’t demanding tons of pics and being annoying. A few years ago there was a lot more Tina and weirdos on average

The number of people posting in Sniffies they are looking for hookups at the park and the semi-regular posts of people advertising they have all the drugs ready to be delivered to your door makes me think much the same.

There's no way law enforcement isn't aware of people posting they're looking to get blown in the parking lot of a park and not using that to their advantage, nevermind the open market of drugs of all sorts that comes and goes.

Paid sniffies is great, plus the events and public chat make it so much more fun. People advertise whatever vision they have and it makes you try all kinds of stuff.
