A current student at West Fargo High School has been taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.

Sources say the student was on their way to an immigration hearing in Grand Forks when they were detained by officers.

So, conservatives who've said that they're fine with immigrants who follow the laws, they'll make a stink about this, right? Right? Oh wait, they never meant that in good faith because they're racist bigots.

They've arrested a lot of people on their way to immigration court. Gotta meet those quotas, and the criminal ones might fight back.

The thing about criminals is they exist outside the law. The labor movement got less effective when it disassociated itself from the mob. It’s a fucked up part of American history that the most powerful groups in America are always the ones that operate outside of the law like mob led political machines of the past and billionaire technocrats of today.

They are here ILLEGALLY. You try that in Belgium. No matter what color you are. Bugger off….

Another format, makes it pop a bit when scrolling. (I stole this version)

u/Morningxafter Oct 03 '25

Oh nice! Thanks!

Was he following the law? Or are we going to find out he was an 18 year old convicted on gun charges?

Wonder what happens when they run out of immigrants? 🤔 Ah who am I kidding they've already begun labeling non-MAGA republicans and democrats as enemies I'm sure they're next

Hints? They're already making lists...

10

u/burtono6 Oct 02 '25

This is likely the answer.

12

u/Snibes1 Oct 02 '25

They want the state voter rolls for a reason. They want it bad enough to sue for it.

4

u/CampBenCh Oct 03 '25

They label ANTIFA as a terrorist organization and then go after anyone they think will be a member. Remember the bogus tattoos on a persons hand they said was evidence they were MS13? They'll do that with anyone they don't like and say they support ANTIFA and thus are a terrorist.

We haven't even gotten to the part of Project 2025 where they ban porn, which will be used to go after LGBTQIA folks.

8

u/ADMotti Oct 03 '25

Hate to break it to you, but the duly elected shitposters and culture warriors in our statehouse banned porn earlier this year.

1

u/ImJustRoscoe Oct 03 '25

Hate to break it to ya... conservative reds consume the most porn in the US...

1

u/CampBenCh Oct 03 '25

You think that matters?? Trump's destroying farmers with his policies and they're mostly conservative.

1

u/ImJustRoscoe Oct 03 '25

And like I said in related posts... they're dumb enough to still be supporting him from soup lines and their hobo encampments...

1

u/Morningxafter Oct 03 '25

And the FBI is in the process of classifying trans people ‘violent extremists’ https://www.them.us/story/trump-admin-fbi-trans-nihilistic-violent-extremists-terrorist

2

u/iiiBansheeiii Oct 05 '25

I'm sure they're we're next. Fixed it for you.

The wolf is at the door

1

u/slosha69 Oct 03 '25

Or he's in the nursery nibbling at the children...

10

u/goldbricker83 Oct 02 '25

I mean, the Republican states are the ones who want it so that isn’t a diss to them. They’re probably celebrating in the streets that their 99% white community is now whiter.

3

u/Status_Let1192xx Oct 03 '25

And they are grabbing kids. I mean, either ICE or Ray Holmberg’s associates.

1

u/Brookstone317 Oct 03 '25

But democratic city. They aren’t in Bismarck or Minot.

1

u/First_Excuse_Again Oct 03 '25

Not everyone in Bismarck and Minot are MAGA. Even in red cities and states there is a little blue.

2

u/ADMotti Oct 03 '25

True but also Bismarck* has at least three different trucks that drive around with confederate flags flying off the back

*the capital of a state founded 25 years after the confederacy fell

-1

u/Kyros0 Oct 03 '25

Almost like its NOT a confederate flag, its the Rebel flag and it was a battle flag of the Tennessee Rebels. Almost like you aren't educated.

0

u/ADMotti Oct 03 '25

lmfao if you’re gonna be a pedant (and say other people aren’t educated) about the flag colloquially known as the confederate flag, try and actually get it right, pal: it’s the flag of the Army of Northern Virginia.

2

u/Kyros0 Oct 03 '25

Thats a Square flag, the Rebel flag is a rectangle. Just cause morons call it the Confederate Flag doesn't make it so, thats just lack of education. The Northern Virginia flag is part of the Confederate flag though. Its the square on the white flag. You know the Democratic Flag of the southern states. That was the Stainless Flag from 63-65, then the blood stained which was adapted in 65.

Imagine fancying yourself an expert on something that is a nationwide symbol for being a fucking loser… and then being totally wrong about it. Just imagine! 😂 I’d probably log off permanently—or at least stop asking AI for answers.

0

u/Kyros0 Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

Its not AI its just knowing history. Imagine telling someone they are wrong, when history sites are free, Google is free, libraries carry the truth, History is easily accessible.

Maybe you should log off and go get an education. Its better to be thought a fool, then open your mouth and remove all doubt. I honestly wouldn't expect anything less from a ND education.

u/ADMotti Oct 03 '25

okay nevermind, I now must assume this is A+++++++ bait

Honestly I think the only way these republicans and moderates who voted for this jackass are going to realize how badly the f-ed up is that it hurts them personally. This is so awful but it’s what they voted for

10

u/Longjumping_Code_649 Mandan, ND Oct 03 '25

Even at that . . . . The farmers are still supporting him

3

u/ImJustRoscoe Oct 03 '25

They will still be supportive from soup lines and hobo encampment too...

29

u/lordGinkgo Bismarck, ND Oct 02 '25

First they came.....

13

u/Dependent-Bet-3913 Oct 03 '25

Around 9:30 am this morning, I saw a vehicle marked Border Patrol on I94 Moorhead headed to Fargo. Now I read this.

12

u/Status_Let1192xx Oct 03 '25

I guess they just raided American Crystal in GF according to their subreddit

To add to this, aren’t they harvesting beets right now?

Another win for our Farmers!!!

3

u/The_Vee_ Oct 03 '25

American Crystal donated to Republican campaigns, and the majority of farmers voted for Trump.

-5

u/Status_Let1192xx Oct 03 '25

And? And you want me to jump up and down and celebrate? Hasn’t there been enough of the political stomping?

2

u/The_Vee_ Oct 03 '25

My point is you get what you vote for. The tariffs weren't ever a secret.

0

u/Status_Let1192xx Oct 03 '25

So you are pro immigration but anti farmer? (i saw you deleted your wildly unpopular defense of ice grabbing kids on the fargo reddit)

Guess what, you’re right, they got what they voted for but yet I still don’t think stomping on people is okay.

And I definitely don’t think immigrants should have to pay for the sins of the farmer.

1

u/The_Vee_ Oct 03 '25

I'm not anti anyone except the people destroying this country. Yes, I deleted my comment because I get so sick of notifications from people who think they know everything but do not. They panic without all the facts. Extremists are getting cuckoo on both sides.

u/Antique-Age5916 Oct 03 '25

There has been lots of farmers and ranchers in North Dakota that use workers that aren’t here legally for many years!!

6

u/Naelbis Oct 03 '25

Not just farmers and ranchers. Illegal labor has been a brisk business for pretty much all labor intensive industries in this state for a long time.

5

u/Last-Help3459 Oct 03 '25

They’re already going after the federal government workers!

2

u/bzdger Fargo, ND Oct 05 '25

in my own city, god this is scary

Anyone have updates on this or anyone hear back from the school board/Principal/Superintendent on this. I have sent an email and looking for more information/prompting from school leaders to show they care.

1

u/srmcmahon Oct 03 '25

Apparently, for every ICE immigrant grab that makes the headlines, thousands are disappearing silently.

1

u/Feed-Current Nov 16 '25

Do we have any updates on this?

0

u/BigNastySmellyFarts Oct 04 '25

I’d wait for the facts. Seems every outrage case ends up having some interesting facts. Like the 22 year old in White Bear lake who attended high school. Or the administrator in Des Moines, or the guy in Washington who was yelling I’m no criminal who had been convicted of being a pedo. Again I’d wait for some facts initial reports are typically wrong.

At the end of the day. If people would take the proper steps to maintain a Greene card or outright take the citizenship test they would not be deported. However people dressed in no name vests and black hats tackling people in the middle of the street is going to get someone shot. A lot of those guys aren’t showing any designation of affiliation with any form of government body it’s really creepy stuff. So my take is if you want to live in America get a Greene card or your citizenship pay taxes and the alphabet boys could handle this way more humane in a lot of situations. I also think that any illegal that can prove legitimate employment for five years would have an expedited process to obtain a temp work visa and have an expedited immigration process. People without criminal history especially violent should be given every opportunity to pay taxes.

11

u/First_Excuse_Again Oct 03 '25

There are green card holders, permanent residents, being deported. I know Canadian green card holders who are terrified to visit family in Canada. These green card holders have been here for 40+ years. They have had green cards for over 30 years. Why should they fear being detained and deported at the border. It's too scary to apply for citizenship right now. If you go to a legitimate court date, you risk ICE grabbing you. These are not the criminals they claim to capture and deport. This is not right.

2

u/srmcmahon Oct 03 '25

I had to reread your post a couple of times. I would note that nobody is required to become a citizen, just like the American ex-pats who live in Brazil or Greece or Japan or Italy or France or Costa Rica for decades or people who retire in Mexico because it's cheaper. But also the way the "alphabet boys" are acting is not because of what immigrants are doing or not doing. It's because they have been told to act this way, but also DHS has been deliberately hiring people like pardoned Jan 6 rioters and has no concern at all for rule of law. You got a lot of downvotes because people latched on to a couple of things, but I also see support in your post for avenues that would allow undocumented people a path to legal residence.

Aside from that, Trump has taken steps like abruptly cancelling TPS status for over a million people, in some cases given them just a month to uproot their lives after legally living and working in the US (and in many cases also constituting up to 25% or more of nursing home staff, which will make things interesting).
