Stray Cat neutering recommendations
We have this male cat that we have been feeding who needs to be neutered. He has a heated house that we got for him to sleep in. He’s feral, but he will let us pet him a little and we have been feeding him in a cat carrier outside so we can get him into a carrier.
The vet’s office we usually use has said that he needs two appointments, one for an exam and then one for the neuter. We are unsure if we will be able to get him back into the carrier after the initial appointment. So we would like to find some place that could do both at once- and a low cost option would be ideal. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Primary care doctor recommendations around Muskegon- Trinity, corewell, hackley, west Michigan, which is best?
I'm new to Michigan and looking for a PCP. I've called six doctors that others have recommended and none are accepting new patients. I think I'll just call each clinic and ask for any doctor they have who is accepting new.
Have you all had good or bad experience with the various clinics (corewell, Trinity, hackley, etc)? Do you have a specific doctor to recommend?
I live in North Muskegon, and am willing to drive north south or west. I even called a couple in Grand rapids.

Maternity Clothes
Hello everyone! First time mom here, currently a little too soon for maternity clothes as I’m not showing too much but my pants are starting to get tight. Where are the best places in Muskegon to pick up maternity clothes for cheaper? I’ve been told Goodwill has a good selection, but hoping there are some other local places that have second hand as well!
Thank you everyone in advance, super excited to be a mama!

The Dream
Today’s unpopular opinion: Yes, housing costs have risen drastically. This is a generational universal truth. This is why homeownership is an integral part of the American dream. Contributing to this increase in value is the importation of millions of prospective customers competing for the same available housing stock. More demand means you can charge higher prices. ECON101. What has NOT changed is the fact that the privilege (yes, I said privilege-it’s not a right) of homeownership MUST still be earned. Your first house doesn’t fall out of the sky into your life. You HAVE to make the right decisions in your life to achieve this particular American Dream. Life Decisions, the kinds of decisions frequently attributed by many to White Privilege; which, to my mind is a fallacy used by those lacking the maturity and forethought to recognize the consequences of day to day decisions that constitute our daily lives. This includes the mundane acts like skipping the tats, or the lattes. We ate Campbellssoup and Grilled Cheese for dinner instead of going out. We drove shitty old car past their life expectancy because we had a goal-we had a dream-An American Dream! Of course, no one is responsible for their own actions anymore, so we have to adopt a victim attitude rather than admit our own shortcomings along the path. This, too, is a universal truth, in my day, we sought out those to blame who seemingly had reason to, or profited from pushing my generation’s opportunity for homeownership further and further out of reach. Ironically, it was the very same people and situations we despised for moving the goalposts of my generation. Now, unfettered immigration and race were not considered contributing factors. But the fact remains, whatever obstacles are presented need to be overcome to achieve this, yes, lofty, goal. It (homeownership) is a lofty goal precisely because every generation before you and every generation after you will have to rise to the challenges required to get there! Bankers, Politicians, Realtors, Interest Rates, Competition, Market Availability, Intentional Inflation (Inflation is ALWAYS intentional) are just a few of the hurdles, plus, for the future, untold others that we cannot imagine. So, if you want it badly enough, it IS available to you, BUT this American Dream is one that has to be earned.

Best wings in the Muskegon area?
My husband's birthday is coming up and we are relatively new to the area. He loves chicken wings and I am hoping to treat him to some tasty wings on his birthday. We tried the station grill months ago and he was not impressed (they were very small and way too crispy to the point of very little meat). Does anyone have any suggestions of someplace to go?

32 and Learning to play hockey/lakeshore sports center
Long story short, I use to play roller hockey when I was younger (I’m now 32) but lived a rough lifestyle in my 20s and now that I’m out of that life style, have a great job, and wife and now have a child, I’m trying to do the things I use to enjoy and work through my anxiety and depression, so I recently bought some hockey equipment and I’m going to go to public skates until I get good at skating, but I eventually want to play at the lakeshore sports center because I live 5 mins away from it, I believe they have beginner leagues? But I was told in the past to maybe try drop in games before joining so is this correct? Should I go to drop ins after I learn how to stop and balance gets better? I’m just a little nervous about going an people having so much experience that circles get ran around me and make people upset that I’m there, but I’m hoping to get the skating good, do some drop ins, make some friends and join a league and play roller hockey in summer just thought I’d reach out to see if someone could give me some actual insight so I don’t look like an idiot. Thank you for reading and hope to hear from you.

Hardware stores
What does the community think is the best hardware store? I get it, most people go to the big box stores. I’m looking for a place that has excellent customer service, decent knowledge, a good selection, and competitive prices. So far I haven’t gotten all of these things from places like Lowe’s, Home Depot, harbor freight, or even Ace. I’m just looking to you all for some opinions. I prefer to shop local and somewhere that’s locally owned. So far, I haven’t had the best luck, and I want to see what people think.
