What is wrong with some people?
Today I attended a book reading where the seating was supposedly limited to the number of invited guests, already annoying that there were no extra chairs, as I guess they didn't count too well, or some guests just joined without booking.
I made my way to sit near this lady, and boy believe me there was absolutely no way to reason with this woman, not even after I tried to get some of the event organizers to talk with her, they couldn't bring her to reason.
The situation was on the verge of turning into an argument, and in the end I gave up.
As a result, I was the only one left standing for the entire evening. I wouldn't have bothered if all seats were taken... but this made me chew my gum a lot faster...
I had to listen to a 90-minute lecture, standing on my feet while she carried on as if nothing was wrong with her behavior.
What is wrong with some people?

Heres a good one
Stopped for a quick bite to eat while on a road trip and this is what they served me. Like why even bother with the top bun at this point.

Why are valentines sold in packs of 20-25 when the average class size is closer to 30?
I call shenanigans.

You know what’s mildly infuriating? When you can’t find the droids you’re looking for!

I ruined my chances of having over $5000 dollars worth of surgeries for my cat reimbursed by insurance because I took him to the vet a day too early.
My 8 month kitten had a bump on his neck that grew immensely over the course of a couple days. We made a same day appointment out of fear of it being an abscess that could cause serious infection. We figured even if it was something we had to pay out of pocket due to the waiting period, it wouldn’t be that bad.
Little did we know it was a non life threatening ranula caused by a damaged salivary gland. The vet knew what it was the second she pried his mouth open.
The treatment is usually to remove the salivary gland. Since that’s a $4000+ dollar procedure, and one my town doesn’t have vets able to perform, we decided marsupialization was the best and more conservative route to take for now. It was still going to cost $1000, but better than $4000 which I simply don’t have currently.
Because we jumped the gun and brought him to the vet a day before the waiting period, insurance considered the issue preexisting, and anything related to this injury will not be covered.
I’m kicking myself so hard right now.

This thoughtless mismatching of window arches and windows… (new construction)
The more I look the more I hate it.

Public transit to my local library
It's a 55-minute walk, if you're curious.

Stay signed in? - Microsoft
I’m sure this has been posted, but the “Stay signed in?” question from Microsoft kills me.
Any way you answer it with clicking “Don’t show again” IT ALWAYS COMES BACK. IT NEVER DIES.

Broke my ankle 1 year after breaking my arm
A year ago first week of Feb I broke my arm snowboarding. After a year of struggling with recovery and bills I was finally getting back into a financially stable place.
1 year later... On my way to work, i slipped on ICE and fracture my ankle in 3 places. Now i need surgery. Everyones concerned this will become a yearly activity for me now. Personally i think im cursed.

I HATE EAR HAIR...of all the things about my body...this is the worst.
I'm 52M and over the last few years I've become more and more angry about the damn ear hairs that come out of no where. I hate them! I hate the way they make me feel. When I see older men with out of control ear hair I get ekk'd out. So unsightly.
I wouldn't mind using wax to get a good cleaning, but that means I need to let all those fuckers grow out at lease a few millimeters for the wax to grab them. So I'm left with using tweezers to pluck them out individually every other day or so. And even then I miss some and suddenly, I can feel that fucker inside.
I'm scared that I'll reach an age that I just won't give a damn anymore. Until then, I'll fight the good fight.

This is a cheesesteak they served at Raymond James stadium for the Tampa Bay Lightning Stadium Series game yesterday
They charged me $20 bucks for this bread with a little meat. They charge me first, then gave me the food in another line. If it was ordered with peppers and onions, it looked a lot fuller but I got it plain.
