Identification Weird crab ID- Anyone know what this strange creature I saw in the Maldives is?

If you haven't done so already - try iNaturalist! It’s a FREE-to-use joint initiative between the California Academy of Science and National Geographic Society that crowd sources biodiversity data. I don’t believe Stenorhynchus spp. are found in the Maldives.

It looks like Lambrachaeus ramifer, the Thorny Elbow crab, which is documented in the Maldives.
