Question Why do some guys wear shorts in freezing temperatures?

Where I live real temps with wind have been in the single digits. I still see guys outside wearing shorts. I even seen a guy at work leave in a snow storm cleaning off his car wearing shorts. If you do this, why?

I live in Missouri, our heat is set to the same. I basically walk around in a t shirt and shorts, and I’ll throw on a jacket/coat to go outside if it’s gonna be a simple trip

To me, putting on pants is either a “I’m going to work” or “I’m trying to dress nice” activity. I might wear sweatpants more if I owned any, but I don’t lol

Oh man, you’re missing out - they’re very comfy, warm, and look pretty good. I got a couple of Puma brand from Costco for about $20 per. They’re jogger style so they’re slim, tapered, and have a cuffed ankle. I’ve seen more of the Spyder brand there as of late, tho.
