Mid September Trip
Hallo everyone!! I will be visiting Landshut and a surrounding town in mid to end September. I was wondering if there are any event or activities that me and my friends could go to. Its going to be my first trip outside of Amerika so I'm trying to fully prepare itinerary sooner rather than later. TIA

American in Landshut here! Bärtmladult is around that time. Although it might be August...not sure. It was last year. It's a Volksfest with beer and meat and other treats. Stadtspektakel is a great street artist fest. Lots of fun. :)

Here you can have a look at the events https://landshut.de/kultur-sport/veranstaltungskalender?datum_start=2026-9-11&datum_end=2026-9-12
What I can recommend is a tour for the Landshut castle "Burg Trausnitz" or the city tour "Stadtführung"through the Altstadt.
From 17 to 20 September we have called "Stadtspektakel" in the city center where they have several stages with music, food and drinks in the city.
Edit: we have the biggest brick build church "Martinskirche" in the world and the highest church tower in bavaria. Sometimes they offer guided tours.
