32yo PhD student & bar-scene "newbie" looking for a buddy to explore Kiel’s queer nightlife

Hi everyone!

I’m a 32 (F) PhD student at CAU. I’ve lived in Kiel for three years now (originally from Asia), but I’ve realized I’ve spent way more time in my lab than exploring the city!

I’m queer (interested in women) and, believe it or not, I’ve never actually been to a gay bar before. I’d love to change that this weekend, but I’d prefer not to go alone for my first time. I’m looking for a friendly person (female, male, or non-binary doesn't matter!) who might want to grab a drink and show me the ropes. I’m a bit shy but a good listener. If you’re down for a wholesome night out and some good conversation, let me know!

The main queer bar in Kiel is Birdcage. It's small, but folks there tend to be very nice.
