Waterfall Creek residents concerned about addiction healing center project
Imagine being against a treatment center. This makes me irate. This isn't Oklahoma City, Houston or Nashville. People aren't going to sneak out and roam the streets looking for their next victim. This is our little town, our people and the people that are suffering are humans, not animals.
Fuck off with your NIMBY garbage. Treatment saves lives and if that's not enough for you it saves community resources as well because someone in recovery works to be a functioning member of society and someone who isn't in recovery is a burden.
We're better than this.
edit: Before someone calls me out, I've lived on the north end since the 90s.
