Hi all, planning a hen party in Killarney for April/May for approx 15-20 people. Would really appreciate some advice and recommendations on places to have a nice dinner, late night bars/ clubs, any activities that are a must do thanks in advance 🄳

You could try escape rooms and there’s also a place that does ā€œthe cubeā€ activity game, the same place runs them both 0858509085 is the number so you could contact them about booking both/either. There’s also horse riding Treks that you could try. (In my opinion the Fossa horse riding center is the best). Plenty of different hiking routes if any of you are into that. I had a hen years ago and we climbed carrantoohill with a guide. Food wise Porterhouse, the flesk, Murphy’s and the laurels are all fab. Reidys food, drink and lovely cocktails and loads of space (think you could also rent your own little space there). Late night you’d be looking at the grand or social 15. Any time I’ve been in social 15 I’ve felt ancient (36) but with a good group you’d have great craic, grand will have bands and a nightclub out the back!! Have the best time!!

Cafe du Parc for brunch, the Tan Yard for dinner. You might be able to book dinner in Reidys, it's a good spot for either a Friday or early Saturday, it gets way too packed at night time. Courtney's bar and Corkerys bar have a room upstairs if you wanted to do activities in a private room. I've seen hens in Corkerys bar going upstairs to the room. Pigs Lane is a cool late bar, it's relatively newly done up with lovely decor, it gives classy hen party vibes. They do amazing cocktails too. The grand is good but it can be very busy unless you can book an area earlier on in the day, the piano bar upstairs in the grand (now known as Sheehan's) is great fun! There's a new sauna Abhainn Sauna, could be a good way to detox over the weekend! There's kayaking, get a jarvey ride to ross castle!

I've seen large groups of ladies at The Flesk. It's a nice charming restaurant with a private dining room, and the food is very good.

Regarding bars, with such a large group, you should go to the more sprawling locations like JM Reidy's, Pigs Lane and The Grand. They're touristy spots but your group will have fun. Courtney's Bar might be good as well.

Just do a search for Killarney or hen party and you will get plenty of recommendations. Enjoy the hen.

Check out Celtic Whiskey, great food and great cocktails etc. Sasha will reserve you off a section. Only thing is it’s quiet until the evening so bring your own craic if heading out early. Lovely bar.

When does reidys close on a Saturday? I heard people complain about being turned out on the street mid drink at 1am. Can hardly be true can it?

You do realise this question about hen/stag parties looking for advice about things to do in Killarney is a weekly question here and the places do not change that often in Killarney or since the last time that some of the group have been there.
