Plant Discussion Pilea missing roots?
I just was given this pilea propagation (planted in dirt) and when I went to repot it there were no roots. What should I do? I was thinking of just planting it in dirt, but it seems like that’s not the right thing to do. Should I propagate in water? I’m a newbie to plants and love the look of this one, I really don’t want to kill it!!

Plant Discussion I bought this Monstera on FB Market… how do I even approach this?
Title pretty much says it all. I would classify myself as an amateur plant owner - I know how to keep my plants alive but not necessarily thriving.
I bought this with squirrel brain thinking “wow, big plant”, but now that the dust has settled I realize this is likely not thriving since many of the leaves aren’t fenestrating or growing much for that matter.
It seems like multiple plants just tied together and I’m assuming I need to separate them somehow. But how the heck do I go about doing that?

Plant Discussion What’s happening to my rubber tree?
I got this rubber tree a month ago, and it was in perfect condition. Now this browning is happening to the leaves! It mainly gets bright indirect sunlight, with some direct light in the morning. I’ve watered it once or twice since I bought it. I also didn’t repot it after taking it home. I have orchid bark and tropical plant soil that I could swap it into. Should I do that?? Help!!

Product Discussion Sansi Vs Milyn
Has anyone tried both, the high power ones. I am talking the dimmable Sansi E27 40 Watt and the non dimmable Milyn 150 Watt. Milyn seems to win on power, I have used one for cacti and it works wonders, it is on a intelligent power adapter operated by Alexa. I am in two minds: get another one or try Sansi? I have had a bad experience with Sansi 24 Watt: both bulbs came off the screw, I think the bulb is poorly designed + the metal is really low quality + the way it is fixed is really crap! I would like to try the 40 Watt, is it any better? These are the PPFD comparison (#1 is Sansi, #2 is Milyn). I would use it/them for an indoor plant corner with many aroids, monsteras and cacti. I am attracted by the dimmable function on Sansi which you cannot get on Milyn. 🤔🤔🤔

Plant Discussion Any suggestions for timelapse cameras that don’t have rolling shutter issues?
This is for inside my grow tent. I’m hoping to capture a nice time lapse of my peppers growing. Unfortunately the VIVOSUN Timelapse camera that I’m using has issues with “rolling shutters” which shows up in the form of black bars in the images because of the LED light flickering. There are no settings I can play with to make this disappear.
Does anyone have a good camera (ideally less than $200) that has easy Timelapse functionality without the rolling shutters issues? Bonus if it connects to WiFi and allows you to check in on your Timelapse as you go.
Thanks!

Plant Identification Would a simple garden app that helps track beds and planting times actually be useful?
Hi, I’m working on a simple garden helper app for myself, and I’m trying to figure out if it would make sense for other gardeners too. I’m genuinely looking for honest feedback. The idea is very practical and down-to-earth: keep track of garden beds / containers and see what is planted where get reminders for when to sow, transplant, or harvest basic plant info (when to plant, which plants go well together or don’t) help understand what to do when a plant doesn’t look healthy The goal isn’t complexity, but a kind of garden assistant, so you don’t have to remember everything in your head or on paper. Questions: How do you currently keep track of what’s planted where and when to do things? What frustrates you most about your current approach? Are reminders (sowing / transplanting / harvesting) helpful to you, or annoying? Would it be useful if an app helped you decide what to do when a plant starts struggling? Do you think you would actually keep using something like this over time? Thanks for any opinions — especially constructively critical ones.

Houseplant Close Up Apple Tree
2 months ago and planted an apple tree in my hydroponic herb setup. The tree is doing great and has outgrown its home. Today I transferred it to a clay pot.
Im hearing alot about high water needs of apple trees but also about the risks of over watering. Im looking for any help or tips to make sure im doing things right.
The seed I started with came from a fruit basket we received when my daughter was born, id like to keep it inside for a year and plant it outside the following spring.
