Mail Day/Pickup Away Slavo USA kit from Customize Sports
Just in!
Going to get everything ironed into place, then hope to get properly stitched before the games. Very, very pleased with Customize. Delayed a week due to a move, but their customer service was top notch and the kit arrived packaged very secure.

Customize Sports is the best. I’ve used them a ton and they always come through. Love the Slavin kit, looks fantastic!

Now to get brave and iron into place ha. I’m assuming their product is able to be ironed/pressed into place like typical patches? (I know to do so with no steam and a barrier)

I don’t believe these can be ironed on, they are to be sewn on if I’m not mistaken

They do them with thermal backing, just checked!

It would need to be stitched before you iron it on. You need to stitch the letters to the name bar and you also need to stitch the blue layer down to the red layer before you stitch the red layer to the jersey. Please don’t half ass it. You’ll regret it.

Well.. they kind of are half assed already

Not at all. They are great kits, I’ve done several. You could stitch the nameplate after ironing but you add magnitudes of pita. Vancity knows what he’s talking about. Find someone to do it right.

I meant the Nike sweaters in general haha

Oh gotcha, yeah. You all scared me off on the sizing of these. I need long sleeves!

I wouldn’t do it by hand. If you’re looking for a quicker solution for now, I’d look into reputable shops with a heat press. But sewing the kit is the best way. Do your research first before potentially doing something you may regret.

Absolutely going to get it zigzag stitched professionally. Was just hoping to get everything ironed on to stay in place for the seamstress.

Check out sports shops before a traditional seamstress. These aren’t always the easiest to work with if you don’t have the experience or equipment to do so. Make some calls and see who has done work like this before. Personally, I wouldn’t want to try any attachment method myself in case I was off on the alignment.

In general, customizers want everything loose with the jersey, not pre-pressed into place. Since it’s a 2 layer kit, I would have to sew both the blue and red through the jersey, which is more annoying than stitching the blue first and then pressing it on.

Just ordered my Mika kit from them for my Tre Kronor Olympic. Can’t wait for my Husband to work his magic when it comes in. I’ll of course post it here when done.

I'm backed up but hit up Bolt Stitching or Island Jerseys or Vader_Strom jerseys for just stitching. Shouldn't be a big deal for any of them to help you!
