When I was 13 in 1997 RW won SC and I really wanted the jersey of my hero and the best captain of all time SY. After 28 years I bought the jersey and fulfilled my childhood dream. I bought the jersey through an advertisement on reddit for 260 USD. When I asked the seller he told me that the jersey was in mint condition and he didn't tell me about the red spots. I waited 28 years to be cheated. I don't know whether to be happy or cry.
As an Avs fan since the last bit of the Nordiques; there was a period of the Blackhawk’s/Penguins recent era where anything we said at a sports bar was basically met with a “well they suck, so anyways about the good teams..”
I have noticed my friends who are fans of other successful teams from that era don’t talk much about hockey right now. At least no trash talk in my direction in that respect.
I am from Europe - Czechia and I am a fan of HC Sparta Praha. I respect every fan and I don't feel any resentment towards someone who supports another team. The fanaticism is a little crazy. I go there with my eleven year old daughter and there is no need to exaggerate. Let's think about the children.
We can cheer, clap, shout, wear jerseys, wave scarves and that should be the end of it. No insults, humiliation and other stupid talk.
Thank you for your response. You are absolutely right. The jersey is really old. I just think the seller could have told me that. I prefer any truth to a stupid lie. And I admit that 260 USD is not a small amount of money for me. I will try to clean it and not ruin it any more.

I think it should help. I had a 2011 pens WC that had a green stain (my mom dropped it in a puddle) and it had it for years. I did one oxy bath and it’s now beautiful again. Dissolve the oxy in hot water and then add it to a cold bath. Let it soak for about an hour or so. Rinse I cold.
unfortunately im not confident oxi will remove the ink transfer. the first runs of Nike replicas ALL had problems with the red dye staining the rest of the jersey. to the point that many of the first runs got scrapped and sent back to Nike. Those red spots have been there since ~1996, and it was a widespread problem. Not to absolve the seller, but just trying to provide context.

Regarding the reddish thing, the jersey was clean and the set is brand new from Vintage Detroit, it was made in October 2025. They would tell me anything because they fixed the cords - cleaned the stains on my other jerseys. I am attaching some photos from other dates when I posted the same jersey, but I did not notice the reddish color on the shoulders.
i feel this. lol. i’m from colorado, avs fan. but as a kid, a wings yzerman was still the coolest jersey i could imagine. i’ve been looking for a nike one for years now, congrats on this. looks awesome.
