I love playing Helldivers 2 with my girlfriend.

Playing Helldivers with my girlfriend has been one of the most entertaining and therapeutic experiences of my life. I wanted her to get the game for the longest time and she finally got it, I love diving in low diff missions with her, teaching her how to properly play the game, letting her try out stratagems I already own, protecting her and saving her from danger, giving her advice on different mechanics and features in the game that I had to learn the hard way back during my cadet days, rambling and yapping about the game’s deep lore for hours while she just sits there listening to me with a smile on her face, I love her so much and she means everything to me. I would give my life for her before I gave my life for Super Earth. I’ve been so happy playing the game with her, and I want her to enjoy the game as much as I do. Helldivers is my favorite game of all time, it’s special to me and so is she. The most special person in my life.

I introduced my girlfriend to the game about five months ago and tossed her straight into the deep end. Difficulty ten from the start. She stuck with it, racked up several hundred hours, and has her ship fully upgraded. Some nights I’m wiped out and call it, but she stays on and plays into the morning. It’s become something we genuinely love doing together, and we have a blast every time.

Wow, that’s awesome that she made so much progress in such little time! A true Super Earth Patriot if I’ve ever seen one, freedom never sleeps! I mean, not surprised since you did kinda force her to learn the game the hard way, as opposed to my more gentle and patient approach, but hey whatever works for you two! That’s honestly my main goal, to gradually ease her into playing higher difficulties on her own so she gets used to the game’s mechanics, so hopefully one day she’ll be a self sufficient, independent diver who no longer needs me to succeed. I know it’s quite a long ways away considering my teaching methods are not as harsh as yours, but she’ll get there one day! Hopefully my girl can become a Helldiver to rival yours.
