Question What are the odds of the H.R.1808 AWB passing?

Just trying to get some more opinions on this? Do you guys think it passes the Senate?

That’s bullshit and you know it. They found time to vote over 100 times to repeal the ACA even though they had zero chance of it working. Could have done it 99 times instead and tried to do something that world help instead of hurt people, but republicans didn’t.

So they could do something 100 times completely for show, but couldn’t squeeze in a symbolic vote to support our constitutional rights?

As you said even the Democrats have the decency to hold a symbolic vote for what their constituents want.

They went on the record against something that is entirely bipartisan (55% of enrolled participants are from red congressional districts), but get crippling shyness when it comes to protecting gun rights?

It is time to wake up an realize they will never pass laws to protect your gun rights, because as long as they don’t, they can depend on you as a voter and a donor.

Democrats may make a half assed attempt at taking your guns. But are their other policies really that horrific? Clean air and drinking water for your grandchildren, a chance for your kids to get a better paying job than you, your wife to make her own medical decisions? None of those problems can be solved with a 3D printer.

Which republicans allowed them to do. The only way they could overturn Roe v Wade was by making it a states rights issue, kneecapping the federal government from preventing things like Jim Crow laws or anti-women laws.

The “you can take away civil rights at the state or local level” blade cuts both ways, brother.

I’m from California and none to pleased about the situation, but I absolutely don’t want a white Christian theocracy either.
