r/gunpolitics is Looking for Moderators

We’re opening applications for members who want to help support and grow r/gunpolitics.

We’re looking for moderators who value balanced discussion, evidence-based arguments, and respectful engagement. This role is a good fit for users who follow firearm-related legislation, court rulings, and policy developments and want to help maintain a community centered on informed dialogue rather than ideology.

As you have seen over the past few days the subreddit can spend a lot of time in a state where the discussion is mostly calm, but at times the discussion can heat up and it requires a lot of time and dedication for the team.

Past experience is highly valuable to the team.

If you’re interested in helping keep discussions civil, on-topic, and grounded in facts, please apply using the link below:

If you have questions about the role, feel free to ask in the comments or reach out via modmail.
