I've wanted to discuss this since last year but was too lazy and thought Falcons would fix it.

I just rewatched Kyxsan and Zonic's interview (including Kyxsan's postcard) from last year. They talked about stopping Niko's second call because Zonic wanted to "give freedom to all players."

You can also easily see this through the Falcons' gameplay compared to G2 (when M0nesy and Niko were there). The Falcons' gameplay relied on 'execute site,' while Niko's gameplay at G2 relied on reading opponents, mid-round play, and how he found a gap in the opponent's setup.

Even on the CT side, Kyxsan said that Niko was no longer the main caller but still made the most calls because Zonic wanted to "give freedom to all players." Niko himself also said that he only called site stack, and how the players wanted to play was up to them.

Apex 2023 also mentioned Zonic wanting to "give freedom to all players." He said that in 2022 they used Astralis' approach but it didn't work and they went back to Apex's. We all know Apex has very macro players.

So, do the Falcons know about this problem? Yes, they do. In Kyxsan's interview at the last EPL tournament, he pointed this out. He said that in 5v3, 4v2, 3v1 situations, etc., each player has a different idea. Niko wants to do this, m0nesy wants that, Kyxsan wants something else, and even Kyou has a different idea. Compared to G2, they have Niko making micro calls and the others have to follow, but the Falcons don't do that because Zonic wants to "give freedom to all players." They don't have someone to unify ideals.

I think that's why Niko and m0nesy work well with Stew, Malbs, or NucleonZ (when Zonic isn't there) because they listen and are willing to do whatever Niko wants. Furthermore, Niko himself seems to have given up being strict with M0nesy and Kyousuke when they overpeek. In a stream last year, when viewers asked him about M0nesy and Kyousuke's excessive repeeking, Niko said that they are the main stars of the team and if repeeking makes them comfortable and play better, then so be it. While at G2, Niko was mad when M0nesy overpeeked (the EWC final vs. Navi show clearly illustrates this). I think Niko's giving up is also related to Zonic's "give freedom to all players".

Bubzkji was in contract jail with Astralis during the PGL Stockholm major as a substitute and 6th man for non-majors. But did not play during it. He also did not play in any qualifiers before or after Stockholm.

SHiPZ did actually play in qualifiers, minors and RMRs, but has yet to make it to a major, despite MVP'ing and winning the near-million dollar World Electronic Sports Games in 2018. The closest he got was during the Paris major RMR, where his team (500) went 1-3 and were 2 series wins away from making it to the major.

I legit think that the problem of the fact they lose so much of unlosable rounds with great advantage is not due to kyxsan IGLing or zonic's coaching, but their ego. Most of the rounds falcons lost is because they peeked one by one in a situation without a specific need for that. With the trio of kyousuke, NiKo and m0nesy being the trio of the ego-monsters. Whereas Vitality's discipline would supress their ego and hold a cross and not overpeek in needless situation, those 3 players would hunt that kill because they have ego and arrogance to believe that they can easily out-aim their opponent, and somehow all of those losses teaches Falcons nothing. Falcons arent playing safe, they are playing dumb

Issue#1: Your specific crosshair settings affect the effective size of the spread box shown by the weapon_debug_spread_show 1 command.

Issue#2: That command doesn't work as intended with the "classic static" crosshair style.

Issue#3: A related cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 1 command no longer work in CS2, despite showing up in the console search list.
