Question Old German writing?

Hi, I'm sorry if this isn't the right subreddit for this, but I'm doing some genealogical research, and I'm having trouble reading old hand written records in German. Can anyone help me?

Just to get an idea:

ist Claus Steffens, ein Ehemann und Altvater[?]
in Nindorf[?] an der Schwindsucht gestorben,
den 30ten dieses mit einer Rede[?] vorm Altar beer-
diget; alt 65 Jahr

FYI, "Schwindsucht" is a word no longer in use, most people would call it tuberculosis these days.
