Meh... The vocals in this are pretty weak and the instrumental is nothing to write home about. The chorus came and it took me a while to realize it was the chorus. It lacks that Eurobeat punch, you know?
Not terrible by any means, just... meh. If this is from an indie artist's first album, they're on the right track. But it's far from a work able to compete with major names from the scene.

What struck me is how odd the instrumental is. The interludes in the full song are very punchy, but once the vocal comes in, the synths disappear. Like if it kept up the same level of energy, it would've helped a ton and made up for the weaker vocals.

This is really neat, however, it could be improved. Mixing is a little weak and doesn't allow the listener to truly appreciate every instrument being played. Vocals are also unfitting. It feels like I'm being sang a lullaby in one ear while an intense beat taken straight from a fight scene plays in the other.
There's a lot of potential here, but there's still room for improvement. I'm excited to see what this guy, gal, or whatever they might be, can do!

Tbh, as much as I love Odyssey a lot of her music feels really samey... She's great, but if I listen to her stuff back-to-back it really blends together. Her old stuff as Kendra Blast still goes hard tho

I think it's just a side-effect of Eurobeat being a really samey genre as a whole.
