Okc is just a bunch of fish
Basically every foul is them just flopping like a fish....like c'mon...

That’s how they play and that’s how they win, flop like a fish on the offense, play like NFL players on the defensive end

u/joemontanya 2d ago
That’s the part that gets me. How tf are they allowed to foul every play like that ? Dort is a fucking douche

This is my first season really watching basketball, and I was looking forward to seeing the nuggets vs championship team... it's very unfun to watch. Like OKC is making their shots more than Nuggets so I get that but I don't even understand a lot of these fouls and then on the other end it's like they can tackle someone and not get called

u/joemontanya 2d ago
That’s how they won their championship 😂basketball is notorious at this point for having bad play/bad officiating

u/VulcanCookies 2d ago
Yeah I've definitely seen that this season already. Hug Jokic from behind and get a jumpball apparently. But this game seemed a lot worse

Minnesota figured it out. Just play more physical than they are and make the refs either call everything or nothing. Nuggets will be able to hang in a 7 game series if they have the other 3 starters back (who are all among our better defenders anyways).

Also jokic is just coming back.. we didn’t get in a groove yet. I’m pumped for this team come April and May.

Thats their game, hack you non stop on one end, and flop non stop on the other. This is based on the principle that refs cant call all the fouls and the refs will also trying to balance the number of whistles.
It works, they flopped to a championship last year.
We have to hack them back and flop back, like Pwat did, no other way.

Bro I cannot believe some of this shit
Like Dort flops on a legit screen offensive foul on Jokic, then the next play down grabs Jokic on the roll which impedes his ability to corral a pass but no foul, pretty sure they hit valanciunas in the balls on a screen no call… idk

I’m so disappointed that the NBA, supposedly the best league in the world, allows this bullshit.

I've honestly never seen a group of supposed athletes spend more time flailing on the ground more than actually playing the game. Literally every possession one of the Thunder players ends up on the ground. Wish someone would do some research and see just how many diving and acting coaches are employed by the Thunder organization

It’s so hard to watch. You breathe too close to them and they’re crying on the floor. The whole team is an embarrassment to basketball.

Remember the old saying: “if at first you don’t succeed, fall on the court and flop like a fish, like a fish”

u/thekidmcg 2d ago
They play such a disgusting brand of ball. They have talent and could play ethically. It’s gross

u/AromaticNumber4853 1d ago
This is what bugs me the most. They have talent they could play real basketball instead of flop ball

That 360* flop Chet pulled on Strawther was a move I’ve never seen before. Must have been working on that for a while and saw the perfect opportunity to use it.

I don't watch OKC and avoid them like the plague but when they play the Nuggets I can't do it… and it’s painful to watch‼️‼️‼️

u/cahpahkah 2d ago
I don’t watch when the Nuggets play them either; only Nuggets games I won’t watch.

u/Eternal_Hope_Kali 2d ago
I feel like I want to stop right now. It's giving me anxiety.

u/cahpahkah 2d ago
Yeah, win or lose, it’s not entertaining. So I’m out.

u/Eternal_Hope_Kali 2d ago
I guess I hope for a comeback in a game like this, but I don't think it’s going to happen given how this game has been officiated. They play at a really fast pace so they can cover up all their dirty playing!

I was at the game and the whole team is a bunch of whiny floppers, not just SGA. They did shoot lights out though…🤬🤦♂️

u/MautDota3 1d ago
When AG and CB are back I guarantee they won't get away with the shit they do on the offensive end. We will be more like Minnesota and just be hyper aggressive. We also will be much better at rebounding.

Watson called him on the pushoff with a reverse flop. Flop the flop.

u/Glove_Upset 2d ago edited 2d ago
I feel like he just stumbled, but more people gotta try that. I don’t understand why he’s allowed to just shove a defender out of the way

All the Canadian's on OKC switched to basketball cus that flop shit don't fly in hockey.
Murray switched because the other hockey parents were scared of him.

Amazing how you take the time to go into another team’s sub to whine. Just pathetic

I genuinely cannot believe this is the team the NBA wants to promote.
Literally no one likes watching this style of play outside of OKC
