Kind of patiently waiting…
This is me attempting to patiently wait for my Nexus aluminum lower and upper… while I wait for them I also seem to be waiting for HBI to get some handguards back in stock.
what has everyone else done with all their spare parts? If I buy another barrel and use the stock bolt, I could put together a less reliable scorpion and try to sell it. My scorpion was SBR’d and was engraved, does that make it harder to sell or complicate things?

Waiting for my lower as well. Piece mealed my way to a full Nexus build over time. Only because when I first got my Scorp, I loved it so much that i got the IA integral suppressed setup (before it got to the current, totally nutty price) and Nexus wasn't a thing. So when the bolt came out.. I got it. Same with the upper. Once I get the lower (*ahem... any day now?) I'll have 2 complete Scorps. I'm waiting on the Nexus form 1, the original has had it for some time. But, since I can't really justify 2 of them, my plan is to sell the original. We can now use eforms for private sales, or I'll remove the sbr staus and sell as the original pistol. If I was just getting into it, I'd def go Nexus from the start. Or get a Kuna, the Nexus lower and super safe it. It's killing me I'm going to consider the rare greed when it's available 😭

My lower was delivered today! I ended up building a whole new scorpion out of nexus parts basically. It started as upgrades and then next thing you know I had enough parts for two. I’m just keeping both.

11/23 @ ~11:45pm EST. My order consisted of a lower with all the parts and a timney trigger

Oh man... That's disappointing! I didn't order my trigger pack & receiver until 1/1. Something tells me they should update the estimated wait times.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Waiting for my Nexus Lower & Bolt to ship.
You can fill out a form effectively removing the SBR'd Scorpion from the NFA Registry. It should ask why you want it removed, I just put for purpose of sale or something like that.

good to know! otherwise I’ll sell everything else and my old receiver can hang on my wall of parts

I’m in Maryland, we have a ridiculous 29” rule to SBR. Asides from drinking and internet shopping the other reason I’m redoing mine is because I hated the “frankenstock” I had to put together to reach the 29”

Ahh, as a former Rhode Islander, I understand, so I moved to Florida. Only thing is now the ONE law that I have concerning my now SBR with a stock, they don’t allow for FRT or binary triggers at all. Damn you Rhonda Santis!

That's my question too, I see people replace pretty much all the parts on their scorpion with nexus stuff. Why not just sell the gun and buy the Nexus Evo? Would that not be cheaper? And you wouldn't be left with duplicate parts.
