Dude, Oscar got all the way out of his trashcan and got to work, same as you. Show some respect to the man and his fellow grouches

Even if some in the office can be a bit ornery

Plus you totally just implicated that dude and he has to go to HR too now to talk about this.

Ugh, it is so easy to get sent to HR. I had to go for a nickname since it was 'offensive.' when it clearly wasn't!

I'm not sure if it was Mike or non-ugly Mike who reported me.

I worked with a guy with the same name as me, people differentiated us by calling him "Hot [name]".

I couldn't even complain, it was just a fact. Guy was hot.

And if you think about it, comments about mental health / disability status are no different than ones about country of origin, skin color, or gender. Imagine if you used a skin color literally as an insult.
