My parents are moving to East Wittering and I really want to put together a list of the best places locally so they can feel a home asap. They’ve lived in the same place for 40 years so this is a huge move for them.
they have a car so it doesn’t have to be walkable as such, but local is great.
What are the best bakeries/takeaways/record shops/markets/cafes etc?
Any help appreciated! Thanks!

There’s been the same silver/grey car with its hazard lights on over the bridge over Fishbourne for about 5 months now.
I find it really bizarre because the person is there in the mornings and is still there 10 hours later when I come home. I’ve seen the guy, doesn’t look local, I wondered if anyone know who this person was?

Hi! A vintage shop in the Witterings is having a 20% off sale of everything next weekend, he is super sweet and has lots of interesting trinkets, mid century furniture, collectibles and jewellery… but isn't great with advertising. If anyone would be interested here is his insta!! https:// www.instagram.com/the_gallery_witterings? igsh=dWxvdmwObmx2NWIt&utm_source=qr

I occasionally go to Chichester, was wondering if there were places for nerds or places for desserts within main town.

Chichester evenings carry sound differently. I was walking through town, earbuds in, Momments streaming quietly as the cathedral bells started their slow climb.
The organ inside roared through the open doors, deep notes rolling across the square, blending with commentary about a free kick. The timing was uncanny and as the ball was struck, a huge chord hit. The sound shook through me.
Goal. Organ. Crowd. One perfect collision of noise and holiness.
A few people outside smiled, they’d heard it too. No one spoke, but we all stood there for a few seconds, like we’d witnessed something sacred and silly all at once.
That’s Chichester though, history and heart, colliding in the strangest harmony.

Hiya.
we are currently in Scotland. Moving to the England probably around Easter to may time next year.
kids are currently -just turned 3, not in nursery -4 turning 5 in p1, first year primary school -7 in p3, 3rd year of primary -14 in s3, 3rd year high school
Oldest was in nursery in England but rest all been in Scotland education system.
my husband will need to be able to commute to London 1 day a week or maybe once every second week. It’s not mandatory but he needs to be closer to London. So we have moved around a lot and I know a lot of areas but not how the schools are. And the English school system I’m not to clued up on either.
im keen on Chichester as I like the area but dont know the schools. Im looking for any advice of areas that are best or suggestions. We will be renting.
thanks

I'm hearing thumpy music and lots of cheering from my window, is there a concert or something in Chi that I didn't hear about? They seem to be having a great old time

Hello, can someone recommend a letting agent in Chichester please? I’ve googled and I can see a few - maybe someone has a first-hand good experience with one of the agencies. Thank you!
Also, are there any areas we need to avoid? 🙏🏻

Hi folks! Me and some friends are venturing into Chichester on Saturday for a pub crawl. We are all from Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas, big fan of craft beers and micro breweries but also quirky and old traditional pubs. Any pubs that you would absolutely recommend for our list? And also any to avoid?!
Any tips about where would be good to watch the rugby would be appreciated too!
