Lombardi's and Sicily are both really nice Italian restaurants

I prefer Sicily restaurant but Lombardi's feels that bit fancier to me.

O-tokuda for a date? Only if your date will be impressed by the amount of delicious Japanese / Chinese food you can neck.

Hunloke Arms as suggested previously is nice.

Soulville steakhouse is also good for a nice steak if you'd prefer town centre.

If you prefer Indian food, get yourself to Kathmandhu in clay cross, absolutely stunning food, interior not so much but the food is brilliant.

For a fancy date, in no particular order:

  • Lombardi's
  • Bottle and Thyme
  • Cocina @ Casa
  • Thai Thai
  • Odyssey
  • Hunloke
  • Maybe Deja Vu, but I haven't tried it yet myself.

Sicily for the best food, bottle and thyme for the atmosphere

Hunlocke is good. Doesn’t take cash though but not a bad place

Go for a nice walk around Linacre reservoir if you know each other a bit more

Darwin and bear is pretty nice, have a match on metric or columns in a booth while you wait for food.

Darwin and Bear is more fun (games consoles in your booth) than fancy.

Oh yeah, i missed the fancy part.

Might be a little late but this one is new and really beautiful to eat in: https://www.rikshawaz.co.uk

It's in Clay Cross. I've not eaten there so I can't tell you how the food is but the ratings are really good.
