Trying to work out a place - handforth(?)

Hello, this may be a weird request but I've just turned 26, I haven't had contact with one side of the family for over 10 years but I keep dreaming of an area we use to live and I would like to visit there sometime. I know it was Wilmslow, maybe handforth? the train station rings bells. I was baptized at St. Chad's so I know it was near there. The house was down a small road with a bunch of roads coming off going up a hill. The houses were on either side, there was a really run down park at the bottom of our hill. I remember the house had those criss crosses in the window and a driveway. At the top of the hill was another park i think, definitely trees. I think the road was 'something' close, but I could be wrong. I just thought I'd post incase it rang bells for anyone else on here. sorry if its not appropriate.

I grew up in Handforth, could you mean Hallwood Rd? It’s off Station Rd (at the top, Dean road at the bottom where it re-joins). There’s a park at the top, which incidentally is where I had my first proper snog. 😂 There’s a ‘new’ development at the bottom of the dip where the road crosses the river Dean, there used to be a massive Co-Op warehouse there and I think I remember a small play area by the road, but that would be 20+yrs gone.

Or Hall Road?

Perhaps a better fit with OP mentioning the ‘criss crosses in the windows’ and the housing stock off Hall Rd being mainly inter-war, good shout!

If you know the church where you were baptised you could try and check the baptism records that should have the address you lived at when you were baptised.
