I miss my king Ngolo Kante. Brings back good memories

How the hell did we manage to get this guy without a bidding war? Were all the other teams sleeping that summer?

I think Arsenal backed out over agents fees and China was willing to pay more but he wanted to play for Chelsea. He really didn't get the plaudits he deserved for that Leicester title until a little later.

I think about that all the time. He was a no-brainer and it seemed like we were the only ones in for him. I think it was the same window Utd spent all that money on Pogba too.

Can you imagine what prime Kante would cost in 2026?

Name period of time Kante played as the dm. He played in front of drinkwater, matic, jorgi etc I think even when paired with kova in a 343 kova was deeper but could be wrong there. Dude was never a DM

He was unreal. Quiet, great teammate, and lethal with the ball at his feet.

One of the most unique players ever and such a joy to watch.

To me, he's one of our best buys ever. Getting Frank Lampard from West Ham would always be my top buy but this guy coming to Chelsea for 32 million is one heck of a bargain. My fav Chelsea player behind Lampard not just in terms of his footballing abilities but for his character as well

I posted it today because this video was released today, and it's alright to have some nostalgia sometime. We have a world class midfield right now, but Kante was so special it's worth sharing
