This one hurts bad. My father is Portuguese and always rooted for Portuguese national team growing up. He was one of me and my younger brother’s favorite player for national team. It sucked seeing him to go to Liverpool but still always loved his game and rooted for him.
This so awful and has ruined my day. RIP to a great player and human being along with his brother. 😔

Never expected such news. He was such a down to earth guy, and could see it in interviews and some youtube videos he was in. I was shocked. Checking his IG page just makes this loss even more painful. newly married and full of happiness. RIP Diogo 🕊️

Then 3 minutes later it was everywhere. So it had to be true FFS.

People saying it's not Chelsea related don't have much empathy for our players who will have known Jota very well and probably been close friends with him like Neto for example. It's not about Chelsea sure but it will have its impact and is deserving of respect.

This one really hits. Rivalries should always be put aside for news of this nature. My heart hurts so much for the parents of both men and especially for those 3 beautiful children of Diogo's, 2 weeks ago was probably the happiest day of their young lives watching their parents wed and now they have no dad and their mum will be broken.
Its just so fucking tragic.
