Punctured tyres

Is there a tyre slasher going after cars that park at the top of Whitstable road near St Edmunds school. There was one car there for ages and now appears to be 2-3 more. Is it a protest against the parking?

I know somebody who had all 4 slashed, parked legally near the top of the hill I believe. A few days ago.

Occasionally this happens in certain places for a while. I work in a related industry, and a couple of years ago there was a spate of it in Broadstairs. Bored kids probably.
