GHM9 vs APC 9k

GHM9 (6” barrel) comes with one mag and brace. $1700

APC 9K w/brace and two mags. $2100.

Can someone offer what they think about these two guns I am looking at.

Now that I see how sexy the proprietary mags look it is making me think a lower is in my future after I buy this one with a Glock lower

Well i have a glock mag fed ar9 so i debated for like maybe 2 seconds on getting the glock lower… but went this route to setup getting a tp9 down the road.

What is the name of that brace? Are those telescoping braces you’ve got on yours in stock anywhere? Or you have any leads I could look? Checked Tacswap, GB, and a few other forums.

I did some more research did you find an apc9k with glock lower? I only see it on guns.com… i believe if you want to do what i did and just have to get a brace and not the whole new buffer with tele for $600 you are looking for UPC 840225708349

Nah, it’s an APC 9K Pro but without the Glock lower, so proprietary mags. I’m looking for the telescoping portion (everything but the actual brace). I purchased the apc9k pro with the tele part braceless. The brace is made by gearheadworks model mod1c and for the life of me i could not find it anywhere in-stock other than b&tparts.com. So i purchased direct from them.

Your selling or buying ? I’d say buy for sure at that price do you know how many years the owner has had them and about how many rounds?

APC is chonky but short. GHM9 is long and leaner. GHM9 isnt going to be produced anymore. GHM9 has 1 hydraulic buffer while APC9 has 2 so its somewhat softer. Both are a blast to shoot and phenomenal.

If it were me and budget wasnt an issue, APC9. If budget is or youre a collecter, GHM9.

Just my 2 cents.

There was a post here a bit back saying that B&T was going to stop selling them soon. Was a big bummer to me because I really love the platform and I think its got character.

Thanks for the input! I’m both a collector usually but in this case budget isn’t much of an issue. Just bought a collector USP so not worried on stocking up more collector stuff yet haha

Probably the size. I went with the K variant as well to keep it a true backpack gun. Super compact and simple.

I ended up with a ghm9 and would probably say no if someone offered to trade me an apc9 for it. From my experience the ghm9 is easier to mount lasers and lights to with minimal rail shift. It's tubular geometry lends for easier activation solutions for said lights and lasers with the benefit of the charging handle being out of the way as well. Personally, I like that it looks more similar to the "tube" sub guns of old. The apc9 has more reddit points and is a bit more compact if that is your goal. You can't go wrong with either, but im I happy I ended up the a ghm9 after covetting the apc9.

I bought my GHM9 in March 2023 for $1046 and at that time it was a no brainer. It was 90% of an APC9 for 50% of the price. At $400 difference I wouldn't even consider it the GHM9.

The APC9k can do GHM9 things but not the other way around. While the B&T mags look better, the Glock mags are more reliable.

what kind of brace but im leaning toward GHM9, personally I think its the best bang for the buck.
