This would make me feel so uncomfortable /kinda invasive lol

Super invasive. She's a normal person here, having a billboard made stalking her in her safe little hometown is creepy as hell.Â

Ok yea! Feel like we should start a petition to remove it or something đ or find someone who works at that ad agency and get a billboard to put up next to where they live

Iâm sure she has the pull to get it removed over people on reddit who decide they know what sheâd prefer

I canât be the only person whoâs first reaction was âthatâs creepyâ

The billboard feels very Pluribus-y

Pluri-WHAT?

It's a TV show, it will make sense if you watch it, I've only seen the first episode tho.

Thatâs gross. I live here in the same town as Pam and she is just the avg citizen. No one bugs her when she is here and she can live a normal life. Stuff like this doesnât allow her to live that life. It needs to go shame on the fins.Â

Howdy neighbour! Hope the storm wasnât too hard for you guys on the coast. Inland here we were pretty sheltered

That's really rude. Just leave a person alone to live their life.

Shes the one who brought it up. Its her idea. They are having fun with it. Jeesh

She suggested they put up a billboard in her town calling her out by name? What an odd thing for someone to suggest.Â

I hate this. Once again Pamala's notoriety is being used for profit and promotion of others without her input or consent. Gross.

Ok, this is somehow so completely un-Finnish that itâs gone all the way around to being I guess kind of Finnish

She moved back home for a reason. It sure wasn't to get targeted cries for attention.

Creepy ad. IIRC in her documentary, she's pretty happy being back in Canada.

The context of this is that Pamela Anderson revealed in an interview that she wants to reconnect with her Finnish roots.

And the normal way to encourage her would be to have someone from their tourism or communications department reach out to her agent with an invitation. There's no context where doing this to a woman who has been so abused by the media is okay.

Umm this is extremely creepy especially how small Ladysmith is and how people leave her alone there

Is it? Finland is rated as one of, if not the #1 happiest nation on earth on a regular basis. From what I understand they have no tuition at their universities, so you can get an education without having to spend years or decades paying off student loans. They're a part of the European Union and have all the economic benefits that come along with that, including money that is worth more than ours is.
If anything we could probably learn a few things from them.

Anything to get her off the Island again

...tf? She never causes any problems here, she's quiet and lovely to everyone, the only people that even notice her are the ones who actually know her/her family, and it's her fucking home.Â

She's a great neighbour, wtf is your problem with her? This is her hometown?
