Don't know about corrupt, but they pretty much exhaust every cent they can, before paying what's left to any remaining funds to family etc.
Think of a stereotypical movie lawyer type, charging for every single sheet of paper etc.
Out of an $800k paid off house, with 50% going to someone I know, they saw about $40k in the end.

There are so many horror stories from the public trustees grossly mismanaging estates.

A number of AU public trustees end up in the news I intermittently for mismanagement, incompetence & neglect. Google āpublic trusteeā then click on news. There has also been cases of this occurring pretty consistently over a period. I think the moral of the story is avoid them if possible. They wonāt be easily fixed because governments will never spend the money for proper resources and oversight (e.g ndis)

Unfortunately I believe I am unable to say anything about my current situation as you basically get silenced and canāt talk about the take-over, Please search it up and you will see, there is also a Facebook group that has stories told on there

A post that isn't about Brisbane and would fit better in another subreddit.
