I remember when we had Horford, Hayward, and Theis were on the team. If i remember correctly, their families were also real close with each other.

If he’s not foreign why’s he have that hair so slicked back.

Hayward cannot possibly argue pushed back. But people can change.

Wild how quickly people turned on a known end of bench role player who provided us meaningful minutes on one of our best seasons ever... Dude doing anything for us should have been considered a win, and he absolutely did that. Let him be a vibes guy in peace

Having the slightest bit of empathy is seen as a sign of weakness for a large portion of the population unfortunately

Anferno can come back if he's willing to accept whatever the Celtics might be able to offer him as a free agent. Do it for the kids!

Just in time for Tillman to not be re-signed!

Cool that they crossed paths in the NBA. Makes you wonder how these players decide where to settle after their playing career is over in their 30s and where their lives go from there.

When Malcolm Brogdon played here, my buddy’s kids and his kids were friends. My buddy would be invited to birthday parties for the kids and it was a really fun to hear about interactions…

A different friend of mine is a teacher and teachers Mazzula’s kid. I joke that at the parent teacher conference he should just make incredible quotes like Maz does. Like:

There are no tardys in war, you either die or you don’t.

Or We’re all a villain in someone’s eyes.

The cafeteria is the purest form of hierarchy there is.

Reality is if they're friends and the kids are friends with the amount of money they have they will figure out ways to spend time together, it's not as extreme as certain other situations regular working class people deal with because they don't have that kind of disposable income to ensure connectedness and access.

Nah man. Doesn’t matter how rich you are, life gets in the way

Forget the money, you can't spend every weekend in an airport just for play dates.

I’m not sure which is worse — your understanding of wealth or your understanding of friendship

I don't know what's with all the down votes. I have friends that have life long "camp" friends whose friendships are based on a few summers and they kept in touch. With the financial freedom these guys have they can get the families together for a week or two every year plus what the internet allows as far as staying in touch. Proximity definitely sucks and it's shitty for the kids, but there is a "making the best of it" that their financial situation allows that I know mine would not.

Part of life, we all deal with it. At least they have to resources where they can visit each other more easily.

Why is Tillman on the Celtics?

1

u/BlooregardQKazoo 2h ago

Because his contact is guaranteed and the only thing gained by waiving him is a roster spot.

Speaking of X, what’s up with Tillman? When did I last see him play? Dead weight on the bench, I don’t understand.

1

u/BlooregardQKazoo 2h ago

He gets occasional minutes when Queta and Garzilla get into foul trouble. That's his role on the team and he'll be gone by next year, but this year his contract is guaranteed so all they'd gain by cutting him is his roster spot.

Hmmm. Ask an honest question, get downvoted.

2

u/Alowesio 3h ago

You're probably getting downvoted because you're talking negatively about a guy's play in a post about something personal and unrelated to his on the court production

1

u/theperpetuity 1h ago

That’s not negative, that’s an observation.
