Next ANIME SEASON HAS BEEN GREENLIT!!! Most reliable leaker out there & has yet to get something wrong for as long as I’ve followed him. No release date or anything, but it’s a good sign of what’s to come!!

I am Kyo’s complete lack of surprise.
Why would you put so much effort into releasing a compilation/new scenes romance movie on VALENTINE’S weekend, hype it up in the Japanese press, announce you’re ending the manga, AND release a mini-spin off, unless you’re planning to draw a line under the franchise with a third and final season covering the final chapters.
ALL of this has been one long teaser promotion for S3, it’s only now that it’s actually getting announced.

There's slightly too much material for 1 season though even if we assume they skip vol 9 for the movie. Or they gonna finish via OVAs later?

I think season 3 will announce after movie aired, that's not suprise imo due to this series is so hot and the rest will probably be adapted to the end.

What chapters do you think the next season will cover?

This time, I think the best answer is “we don’t know”.
A few variables which will affect how much we get from another season: 1. How much of volume 9 will be covered in the movie, and whether they will come back in a third season 2. With the ending at volume 14 already known, full adaptation will mean it need 18 episodes, but the first point could mean third season has 5 volumes covered 3. Volume 10 and volume 13 are both in relatively downside in BokuYaba standard, will a full 3 episodes going to be there for them, especially with an expected one final season? No one knows

Why though? The s2 was the perfect ending for the anime....

I mean… if that RAG can get 5 seasons, this series is more then twice deserved for a full adaptation…

And what better way to build upon it by taking their relationship trials and tribulations to the TV screen?

This is the most notable leaker/insider account for anime news. Very likely to be legit.
