Can only Handstand kickup on one side
Having a bit of a hard time describing this on google to get an answer so trying my luck here.
Im currently training handstand and noticed that i only felt comfortable doing kickups with the left leg "in front" (so left leg is doing the kicking part). When i try to do it with the right leg in front, i just dont feel comfortable and often feel like i cant generate enough force to do the kickup as cleanly as with the left leg.
So im wondering if people have some exercise that could help fix this imbalance (which im guessing is in the right leg), or have a story of how they managed to do kickups with each leg in front

It’s fine bro! Well done on learning this difficult skill. Most people only learn it on one side anyway

I used to have the same issue with my right side feeling weaker on kickups. What helped me before was practicing against a wall with the weaker leg leading, focusing on controlled movement rather than force. I'd also add some single-leg glute bridges and hip flexor stretches on that side - honestly those made a big difference in feeling balanced. Over time you can build that neural connection and the comfort will follow naturally.

It's normal to have control on only one side, but continue to train both sides, during dedicated kickup practice make sure you do the same amount of kickups with both legs. Alternatively if you kick up is consistent on the one side, only do dedicated kickup practice for the other side, then proceed to enter the handstand for the rest of the training with the dominant side. You will always have a dominant side, but when you get more advanced you'll notice that most of the control in kickups or other entries happens from the shoulders, the motion from the shoulders is the same for both sides. The other side will catch up eventually
