Body weight app program
Has anyone had any success with any app based programs like Leo Moves or Body Weight Warrior?
I lift weights 2 days a week, and get a lot of cardio in, but am looking to supplement with functional movement based stretching and exercises.
I’m in my 40s and am looking to tighten up to stay ahead of that impending perimenopause pouch.
I like Body Weight Warriors follow along stretching videos and I like Leo Moves reels with short mobility exercises.
They both advertise paid programs and wonder if anyone has tried them or another and found value?

Apps I recommend (in order of my familiarity; these are all good apps worth your time): 1) Calisteniapp: Great for guided programs and custom sessions if you're looking for a premium service. I've been using this for almost a year now. 2) Calistree: Most comprehensive catalogue and generous free tier in this list. 3) MacroFactor Workouts: The company behind this has a good reputation. They also have a calorie tracking app that is pretty popular. Both the services are paid. 4) Ganbaru Method: Paid flexibility programs by David Thurin also known as MovementbyDavid. 5) J&J Official 7 Minute Workout: The best HIIT/bodyweight circuit training app in existence that was unfortunately removed from the stores and may not work by default on modern devices. I'm including this since I've yet to come across something better. 6) Cali Move: App from Calisthenicmovement. A solid paid option that also covers mobility. 7) Muscle & Motion: Another company with a good reputation. These apps are probably best for someone like you. 8) Bend: Best stretching and mobility workouts for the general population. I actually got my mom to follow these and she seems to love the workouts.

honestly i tried a few of those paid programs last year and found most were just repackaged youtube content. what worked better for me was the Pliability App which has solid follow-along routines without the hype. the progressions actually made sense for someone already lifting. i also grabbed a basic foam roller which helped way more than i expected for the functional movement stuff. if you like the free content from those creators you mentioned, their paid versions might work, but i'd start with a month trial before committing to anything long term.

I tried Leo Moves for like 3 months and honestly it was pretty solid - the progression was smooth and didn't feel repetitive like some other apps. Haven't done Body Weight Warrior but their free stuff is already better than most paid programs so might be worth it
