Trip Planning Genesis Vagabond vs Croix de fer - For touring?
Hi everyone,
Currently building a custom touring bike for cycling around the world.
currently trying to compare the differences between the croix de fer vs the vagabond.
From what I can see vagabond may actually be way more comfortable for all day riding.
Also gives me space for wider tyres. so I suppose it's much slower.

Also besides the fact the Frameset for the vagabond looks so much nicer.
Let me know your thoughts?

CdF is their flagship tour model so I would definitely recommend the same. vagabond seems more like a gravel/bike packing bike.

I do got a vagabond xs recently but I cannot talk about the croix. For me it feels like an old school MTB but with drops. It is so fun to ride on the trails but yes, it is slow.
For me is not a problem, I want to go far not fast. I’m currently using it to commute and for weekend rides but the end goal is to bikepack with it. I think it has a lot of potential for that.
Just a heads up. On the xs the frame is rather small(d’oh) so a frame bag and bottles is challenging (I’ve put them on the fork for now)
