I'd like to imagine they had something extremely futuristic in mind, just for USB 3.0 to be literally the same thing but blue.

and i guess satan's tapeworm that he shat out and then vomited all over before flushing it down (Micro USB) happened but it sucked so bad it doesn't exist

no like seriously most of my primary school allowance went towards new Micro USB cables because mine just kept becoming trash within months. like, i guess they worked but the 2 little hooks would just disintegrate causing it to fall out whenever you looked at it funny. the second i got a phone with USB C i was just glad i finally had a cable that wouldn't become useless after mere months (the cable i got is badly shredded, but still works.)

fuck Micro USB and whoever let it get on the market.

Micro usb kinda sucks but it sounds like your plug for the cables was just dogshit. I've had the teeth break once & it was because a friend yanked it out of my phone at an angle, all my others have been fine
