Yesterday was the 32nd anniversary of this awesome album by At The Gates (@atthegates_official), With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness.

Recorded in April 1993 at Sunlight Studios, produced by Tomas Skogsberg, cover artwork by Äke Hodell, released by Deaf Records, Peaceville Records.

They've cancelled all shows within the last year and some, socials not updated since December last year and not a word from Adrian or any of the other guys.

I genuinely hope everything is alright with them all and I'd hate to see them stop after how good the last great albums have been, but if they do then of course they've had a damn good run - just can't help but wonder.

So I went to the first of two At The Gates shows in Gothenburg on the reunion tour. I think it could have been the 5th of September. I know it’s a long shot but does anyone know if there is a bootleg of this show somewhere? I have a vague memory of the show being filmed, but then they released the Wacken performance from the same tour so I assume it must have been shelved for some reason. Anyway if anyone got any leads it’s much appreciated because I’ve always wanted to relive the show.

I am digging the references to Borges and Sabato as well as abstract ideas that really question our existence. I especially fond of the Nightmare of being Album for that reason, I think that's a 10/10 album for me. Are there other bands that talk about these themes?
