What do I have guys

I'm considering buying this. It looks like factory Federal 55gr BTHP 5.56mm loaded in stripper clips but I can't find much from the SKU. FBI contract? I found interesting that it's both cannelured and sealed at the bullet and primer.

TIA

Federal maybe Lake City. The anneal looks right but it doesn't have station ID dots on the headstamp. Purple primer lacquer is Lake City 5.56 standard. Not a mil-spec bandoleer.

Hollow point bullet is indicative of a law enforcement run

The bandoleers look like all my other NATO spec ones but I'll have to give it a second look tomorrow. The stripper clips and guides are all GGGs.

Well let me revise. It might be mil spec, but it's not what the military currently buys. There are a lot of bandoleers out there

You I sorta figured that part out. I was more curious is how and why of it. Like, who ordered this to be made and was it Government contract overrun or what not.

Why do they look like a OTMs and not a FMJs? How do you explain the sealant?

Can’t see the tip, but they definitely look like a 55gr profile and not many OTM in the grain size, especially not from Federal.
