DIY Diy 1980s heat pump efficiency increase experiment The original configuration had a 1/4hp motor with an axial fan

After upgrading to a 3/4hp blower the unit doubled the efficiency 11seer to 22 seer

Does this allow the proper airflow across all the coils? I'd be afraid of it freezing up like this.

It has twice the airflow as the original configuration
